The Institute of Buddhist Studies is pleased to present the
Fall 2014 Numata Lecture featuring Dr. Takahiko Kameyama, a
distinguished member of the faculty at IBS.
Dr. Kameyama will speak in the afternoon, Wednesday, October
8th beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Jodo Shinshu Center in
Berkeley.
His topic is The
Arising of Faith in the Human Body. This talk promises to
be an interesting exploration of the intersection of the Shingon Buddhist
belief in the fundamental equality between the human body and Buddha's
bodies, embryology, physiology, and the characteristics of faith.
We warmly invite your presence at this event!
