We
are happy to announce that the Dharmachakra School of Translation is now
accepting applications for our 2015 intensive Tibetan language translation
program, held at Rangjung Yeshe Gomde California. The program runs from
June 15th - August 10th.
The Dharmachakra School of Translation offers an intensive summer translator training program for intermediate- and advanced-level students of the Tibetan language. We train students in both textual translation and oral interpreting in an immersive environment that develops the complete range of skills required for effective translation and facilitates the transition from language student to translator.
Upon completing the program students will receive a Certificate of Completion granted by UC Berkeley's Center for Buddhist Studies.
In past years we have taught graduate students from Yale, the University of Chicago, Emory University, and UC Berkeley, as well as students of the major traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
For more information and to apply please visit our program page for more information.
