An hour of stories from Central Asia for families performed by Ann
Riley.
Storyteller Ann Riley of El Cerrito has been
telling tales since she needed her firstalibi. She has been an elementary
school teacher, an actress in community theater, and worked as a biological
field researcher. She has told at Tell It On Tuesday, to rafters on the
American River, at street fairs and backyard birthday parties. She now tells
stories at the SF Asian Art Museum and anywhere that folks will listen.
Join us for a journey to lands where princess
shine like the sun itself, well-told stories can win a bride, and dreams really
do come true.
The
event will take place at SRH on Sunday, January 11, at 1-3pm. Admission free.
