Living With Appreciation

Those of us who express gratitude the most are those who are the most psychologically healthy.
When we learn to appreciate the good in ourselves and others, we experience more joy, contentment, and fulfillment. The more we are capable of living gratefully and appreciatively, the more we feel a sense of our lives being blessed.
Gratitude and appreciation are transformative qualities — and they are qualities that can be learned.

Jack Kornfield: “The trouble is, you think you have time.”

Jack Kornfield, in Buddha’s Little Instruction Book, says, “The trouble is, you think you have time.” In other words, we put off important things, assuming that we can do them later. But there may not be any “later.” Life is short; make good use of it.
