	ROK-China-Japan Foreign Ministers’  Video Conference Takes Place On March 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha presided over  the “ROK-China-Japan Foreign Ministers’ video conference” on COVID-19,  in which Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi  and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Toshimitsu Motegi participated.  During the video conference, the Foreign Ministers of the three countries  shared information on the spread of COVID-19 and response efforts in their  respective countries, and discussed the negative impact that the spread  of COVID-19 is having on exchanges and cooperation between countries  and the global economy. 2nd Telephone Consultation on Response to   COVID-19 among Minister of Foreign Affairs  and Her Counterparts of Countries Affected  by COVID-19 Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha had  a multilateral telephone consultation with her  counterparts of countries affected by COVID-19  for about 70 minutes on March 19, and discussed  ways for international cooperation in responding to COVID-19. Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Holds  Telephone Conversation with His Counterparts  on Response to COVID-19 On March 20, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs   Cho Sei-young discussed ways for cooperation  in COVID-19 response in a multilateral teleconference  with his counterparts of 6 countries in the region for  about 40 minutes from 10:30, Korea Standard Time. Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Actively Implement  “Social Distancing” with Diplomatic Corps in ROK The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the diplomatic  corps in the Republic of Korea (ROK), will actively carry  out the government-wide “social distancing” campaign  designed to curb the spread of COVID-19. MOFA Spokesperson’s Statement on Japan’s Authorization of Middle School Textbooks The government of the Republic of Korea  strongly protests the Japanese government’s  authorization on March 24 of middle school  textbooks that distort, understate and omit  hard historical facts and contain unjustifiable  claims  The ROK government calls for an immediate correction.
