2013年适值徑山禅寺中兴祖师大慧宗杲禅师圆寂850周年,为继承禅宗之正脉,再振大慧之宗风,徑山禅寺定于10月23日举行 “大慧禅国际学术研讨会”，诚挚邀请您惠赐大作并亲临径山，见证祖庭重兴之矢志，相契径山祖师之慧心，恢弘径山禅学之命脉。
本次会议主题为“禅宗正脉 大慧宗风”，参考选题如下：
1、大慧禅师生平史料研究
2、大慧禅师禅法特质研究
3、大慧禅法对当代社会之价值
4、其他有关大慧禅师及禅法之主题。
“径山大慧禅国际学术研讨会”参会的食宿、交通及考察等费用，均由径山禅寺承担。发表论文者，将支付论文稿费。会议论文经遴选后，将结集出版。
