A Special Weekend Retreat with Khenpo Pema Wangdak
Saturday, August 5th - Sunday, August 6th Starting at 10 AM, Saturday through Sunday, 3 PM Tsechen Kunchab Ling, 12 Edmunds Lane, Walden, NY 12586
Everyone welcome!
I am delighted to host a very special gathering with Dharma teachings and meditation this weekend at Sakya Temple, the holy seat of His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin.
We will focus particularly on the “Wisdom of Patience”.
All our aspirations, spiritual or mundane alike, such as peace of mind and joy of life, kindness and compassion, family and friendship, including a sense of belonging, professional accomplishments, and education, and the possibilities of success -- is based on the premise that the component of patience is included.
Join me in this wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding of patience and it’s power of practice just as Buddha has shown us and learn that with patience as our foundation -- all is achievable, not otherwise.
Bring your friends and family members to enjoy this unique time of retreat and meditation. I would be so delighted to see you there!
Admission is free and includes all meals. If you would like to stay at the temple, sleeping mattresses will be provided for the overnight stay. Please bring sleeping bags or bedding as accommodations will be in the Cultural Hall (no tents, please).
“Our measure of accomplishment is fundamentally based on the solid foundation of patience.”
Kindly RSVP with the names and number of people who would like to attend: Email: paldensakya@vikramasila.org (Michele Sakow) Or Telephone: 516-395-5434 (Silvia)
Sponsored by jointly by Tsechen Kunchab Ling, Palden Sakya Centers, Vikramasila Foundation.
