PASSING> Luis Oscar Gómez

To the members of the international Buddhist Studies community:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our dear colleague, friend and teacher Luis Oscar Gómez in Mexico City yesterday (Sunday, September 3 2017). We are working on an obituary, which will be published on H-Buddhism in due course, but for now we simply record our sadness and dismay that such a great scholar and remarkable human being has been taken from us too soon.
