Penguin Classics has published my translation of a brief Tibetan-language life story of the Buddha: The Life of the Buddha by Tenzin Chögyel, Translated with an Introduction and Notes by Kurtis R. Schaeffer. 126 pages. Penguin Classics 2015. ISBN 978-0-14-310720-0. Tenzin Chögyel (1701-1767) was the Tenth Jé Khenpo, or Lord Abbot, of Bhutan. He wrote his version of the story to serve an introduction to the Buddha for young monastics. Best, Kurtis
