KANAT IBRAGIMOV Solo Exhibition
Kanat
Ibragimov (born in 1964 in Almaty, Kazakhstan) is a contemporary
Kazakh artist, civil activist, partaker of political events in Kazakhstan and
Russia. The artist participated in more than 30 exhibitions around the
world. He is an initiator and performer of actions to support victims of
authoritarian regimes in Central Asia. He expresses his protests through
artwork and active involvement in peaceful assemblies. Since January
2014, Mr. Kanat Ibragimov lives and works in California, creatively developing
his artistic style.

The grand opening will take place at SRH on Saturday, May 16, at
4-7pm. The exhibition continues at the Silk Road House through Friday May
22, 2015.
