On Tuesday, an international
tribunal in The Hague ruled that China’s extensive maritime claims in
the South China Sea have no basis in international law — a ruling

Pakistani humanitarian and
philanthropist Abdul
Sattar Edhi died at age 88 last Friday. His
foundation, established just four years after Pakistan's 1947 birth,
has functioned as a sanctuary for the country's most impoverished
citizens, running ambulances, medical clinics, orphanages, and
disaster relief. "If anyone deserves to be wrapped in the flag
of the nation, it is him," said Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
