“The Teachings and Initiation of
The
Medicine Buddha and
the
Buddha of Longevity”
Bestowed by
His
Holiness the Sakya Trizin
You are warmly invited to attend a special day-long event
with His Holiness the Sakya Trizin. During this
celebration of spiritual and physical health and wellness, our beloved
teacher will guide us in the practice of Medicine Buddha and
Amitayus. These two powerful Buddha deities will be explored
for their great healing capacity to dispense spiritual medicine for the
mind, heart, and body. All are welcome, including children of all ages, as
we enter into this meritorious practice for increased peace of mind,
longevity, and the benefit of all precious human lives.
Amitayus Buddha is the manifestation of the Buddha of life,
merit and wisdom. Medicine Buddha heals the body and spirit
of every living being to dispense spiritual medicine for the mind, heart
and body to heal the world. With these two powerful Buddha-Deities – we
have created the two-fold auspicious conditions to heal the mind and body
and also to live a long and meritorious life to do so.
