서울대학교 아시아연구소는 2016년 4월 27일(수) – 30일(토)의 기간 동안 미국 Social Science
Research Council (SSRC)과 함께 InterAsian Connections V: Seoul 대회를 개최합니다. 우리 연구소는 이 학술행사에서 주제별 국제 워크샵에 적극적으로 참여하여 워크샵진행 내용을 청강할 분들을 다음과 같이 모집합니다.
1.
InterAsian Connections
InterAsian
Connections는 미국의 SSRC가
중심이 되어 MacMillan
Center (Yale Univ), Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social
Sciences (Univ of Hong Kong), Asia Research Institute (National Univ of
Singapore), Göttingen University 등의 기관과
파트너쉽을 형성하고, 1년
반~2년에 한
번씩 개최하는 국제학술대회입니다.
2016년
서울에서 열리는 대회는
제5차 대회이고,
2008년 두바이에서 1차
대회가, 2010년 싱가포르에서
2차 대회, 2012년
홍콩에서 3차 대회,
그리고 2013년 이스탄불에서
4차 대회가 열렸습니다.

워크샵
InterAsian
Connections는 크게 두
가지 형태의 세션으로
구성됩니다. 하나는 Keynote Speech와
Plenary Session으로 구성되는 공개강좌
형태의 전체 공동세션이고,
다른 하나는 전문적
주제에 대해 소수의
참가인원이 집중적으로 발표와
토론을 진행하는 워크샵입니다.
1) 워크샵의
구성
이번
회의에서는 10개의 주제별
워크샵이 운영될 예정이며,
각각의 워크샵에는 2명의
디렉터와 10명 내외의
발표자가 참가합니다.
워크샵은
일반에게 공개되지 않지만,
디텍터의 결정에 따라
소수의 청강생을 둘
수 있습니다.

워크샵 청강자 선정
- 주제별 워크샵 청강희망자는 첨부된 신청양식과 이력서를 제출해야 합니다.
- InterAsian Connections V: Seoul 로컬 조직위원회는 심사를 통해 주제별로 제한된 수의 청강생을 선발한 이후, 주제별 워크샵 디렉터에게 청강생의 청강지원서를 제출할 것입니다. 개별 청강지원자의 청강 가능 여부는 주제별 워크샵 디렉터들에 의해 최종적으로 결정됩니다.
4.
청강지원서 작성 시의 주의사항
- 청강지원자는 참여를 희망하는 워크샵 두 개에 대해 우선 순위를 부여하여 지원할 수 있습니다.
- 청강자는 참여가 승인된 1개의 주제 워크샵 이외에는 참여할 수 없습니다.
- 청강자는 4월 27일부터 4월 30일까지 진행되는 1개의 주제 워크샵 4일간의 전 일정에 빠짐없이 참석해야 합니다.
- 워크샵의 전 과정은 영어로 진행됩니다.
