Canonical Exegesis in the

In the present paper the two authors examine dimensions of
the canonical exegesis found embedded within the text of the Theravāda Vinaya. In part
one, Bhikkhu Anālayo examines the word-commentary on the rules found in the
Suttavibhaṅga.
In part two, Bhikkhu Brahmāli takes up the function of narrative portions
in the Khandhakas.
