Xi's faction grabs more 

power 

as virus crisis worsens

Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing. China's most important cities are run
 by President Xi Jinping's close aides, specifically former subordinates 
who served with him in the eastern coastal province of Zhejiang.

Now the Zhejiang faction has added more to the list, including 

 coronavirus-hit Hubei, of which Wuhan is the capital, as well 
as a key role overseeing Hong Kong.

Just as the faction jumped on the president's anti-corruption campaign

 to capture crucial Communist Party secretary posts, the group
 is exploiting the virus crisis to further solidify its rule. Read here.
