Welcome! With this Newsletter
we launch our new website and begin semi-monthly publication with issues
appearing on the first and fifteenth of each month. We will also continue
to post articles at the site when ready. We welcome suggestions for
improvement of the design. Many thanks to all who enabled us to reach
our goal of $12,000 for 2016, including much of the cost of launching a new
web redesign. We will continue to pursue critical issues including US-Japan
determination to override Okinawan opposition to a new US military base,
the continued Japan-Korea-China controversy over wartime military sexual
slavery, territorial conflicts throughout the Asia-Pacific, and
environmental crises in the hottest year on record. No, it's not too late
should you wish to support the journal. The Asia-Pacific Journal is a 501
(C) (3) non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.
