of a Tale
Taiji,
a small village on the Japanese coast, gained notoriety in 2010 after
the documentary The
Cove denounced its whale and dolphin hunting traditions.
In her new film A
Whale of a Tale, director Megumi Sasaki traveled to
Taiji to get the locals' side of the story. Sasaki recently stopped
by Asia Society for a screening of her new film followed by a
conversation with our Executive Vice President Tom Nagorski.
