Yeoh Among Honorees at Inspiring U.S.-China Entertainment Summit
Actress
and producer Michelle
Yeoh and Warner Bros. Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara
were among the honorees at the 9th annual U.S.-China Entertainment
Summit, a day of discussion and celebration organized by Asia Society
Southern California. The summit featured panel discussions on a wide
range of topics concerning the entertainment business on both sides
of the Pacific, and included appearances by actors Billy Bob Thornton,
Xu Zheng, Jimmy O. Yang,
and Nico
Santos as well as producers, executives, agents, and
other industry leaders.

a discussion held in conjunction with the launch of Asia Society
Japan, Asia Society President Josette Sheeran engaged in
a provocative discussion with Shinjiro Koizumi, a member
of Japan’s House of Representatives and chief deputy
secretary-general of the Liberal Democratic Party, about his
country's place in Asia's future.
