IBS at AAR
The annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion will take
place this year in Denver, Colorado. Our institutional partners at
the International Association of Shin Buddhist Studies will be
hosting a panel on Buddhism and National Security in 20th Century
America on Sunday, November 18 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Embassy
Suites. The panel features Adeana McNicholl, Duncan Williams, Laura
Harrington, and Richard Jaffee. If you're in Denver, visit the IASBS website for more

seminars on the Three Poisons: the last seminar, lead by Rev.
Harry Bridge, will be at the Buddhist Church of Oakland on
