China's 'wolf warrior' diplomats 

roar at Hong Kong and 

the world

There was a time in China when the foreign ministry was deemed 
so spineless, constantly flattering foreign countries, that an
 anonymous critic sent some calcium tablets for the diplomats.
 "Strengthen your bones," was the message.

Not today. China's hard-line and highhanded
"wolf warrior diplomacy" has captured the attention 
of observers, as diplomats forcefully fight back at 
criticism thrown China's way.

And it may not be confined to the foreign ministry. 
Wolf warrior policymaking looks to be driving Zhongnanhai, 
the center of power in Beijing where the headquarters
 of the Communist Party and government
