The UCLA Asia Pacific Center invites UCLA faculty and departments to
submit proposals to host visiting scholars from Taiwan for short-term
visits to UCLA to teach or co-teach in UCLA courses during the
2017–18 academic year. Funding is provided by the Taiwan Studies
Lectureship (TSL), which aims to expand curricular offerings in

UCLA and in Taiwan. While in residence, visiting scholars are
expected to co-teach or give lectures in a course taught by the
sponsoring faculty member, or to lead an independent short-term

Center’s Taiwan Studies Lecture Series.
