Dear Friends and Colleagues,I am pleased to announce the "Toshihide Numata Book Prize in Buddhism Special Lecture 2018" in Ryukoku University on be half of the Research Center for World Buddhist Cultures and Research Center for Buddhist Cultures in Asia at Ryukoku University and Society for the Promotion of Buddhism (Bukkyo Dendo Kyokai).
Dr. Janet Gyatso, who won the 2016 Toshihide Numata Book Prize in Buddhism for Being Buddhist in a Human World: An Intellectual History of Medicine in Early Modern Tibet (Columbia University Press, 2015), will give a special lecture in Ryukoku University Omiya Campus on June 8, 2018.
