The new book, Buddhist Visual Cultures, Rhetoric, and Narrative in Late Burmese Wall Paintings (Hong Kong University Press, 2018), by Dr. Alexandra Green, Henry Ginsburg Curator for Southeast Asia at the British Museum, will be launched 9 May, 17:00-20:00, at the Centre of South East Asian Studies, SOAS, University of London.
At the event, there will be a presentation by the author followed by responses from Dr. John Clarke (Victoria and Albert Museum), Prof. Shane McCausland (SOAS), and Dr. Sarah Shaw (Oxford University). The launch will be chaired by Prof. Ashley Thompson (SOAS).
