Japan unveils dawn of 

the 'Reiwa' era

TOKYO -- Japan's next Imperial era 
will be called "Reiwa,
" the government announced 
Monday. It is the first time
 a phrase from ancient Japanese 
poetry, and not Chinese literature, 
has been used to describe a new emperor's reign.
