Prestigious Universities of China, Japan and Korea Begin Joint Video Teaching

çIn March, students from Peking University in China, Seoul National University in South Korea, and the Universityof Tokyo in Japan, will attend common lectures via video conferencing, according to a report from the Daily World News of South Korea Wednesday.

As part of the new course, East Asian Media Analysis run by the Graduate School of Seoul National University, three professors from China, Japan and South Korea will take turns in providing video lectures, allowing students to watch in real-time.

Students across the three countries can communicate and discuss a variety of subjects through use of the video connection with their foreign counterparts in English. Relevant professors will also visit these three universities to meet with students.

Seoul National University and the University of Tokyo started the video course in 2008. This is the first year forPeking University to participate in the course.
