Dhammaloka Project website goes onlilne

The "Dhammaloka Project" uses the life story of the Irish-born
Buddhist monk U Dhammaloka to explore the wider story of early
western Buddhists as well as the history of Buddhism and Ireland. The
project's website, now online at
http://dhammalokaproject.wordpress.com/ and tinyurl.com/dhammaloka, includes material from ongoing research on Dhammaloka, the first western Buddhist monks, SE Asia as a Buddhist crossroads among other items.
Based on a transnational collaborative project between Brian Bocking
(University College Cork), Alicia Turner (York University) and Laurence Cox (National University of Ireland Maynooth), the site will be updated with details of new publications, forthcoming events, progress reports etc.
