Buddhist Studies for Tibetan & Himalayan Youth Two-Day Bilingual Program (Tibetan & English) with Khenpo Pema Wangdak

June 1st & June 9th, 2019

Please join me for an auspicious two day event where we will explore the relevance of Buddhist spiritual teachings for today’s Tibetan youth. As you do the hard work of cultivating professional and personal lives, we’ll take time to better understand how your cultural and spiritual heritage based on the historical Buddha Shakyamuni’s teachings of wisdom and compassion can support you in your wish to flourish.
Through periods of meditation and conversation, you will learn about the Tibetan science of mind, psychological and physical health, and even the capacity for full awakening that is primary to all other aspects of well-being.
As we work with these sacred spiritual teachings, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your personal aspirations and wishes for happiness, and bring these aspirations into conversation with the Buddha’s path of healing from all forms of suffering. We will also examine the timeless and universal applications of insight and concentration so central to the Buddha-Dharma. You may find that these methods are the very fuel needed for the fulfillment you rightly wish for.
It will be a great joy to spend this time with you!
