COLLOQUIUM> 2015 CrossCurrents Research Colloquium

Dear Colleagues,

This is a fellowship program that may be of interest to those doing
research or writing projects, particularly on “engaged Buddhism.”

CrossCurrents is an inter-disciplinary, inter-religious, international,
peer reviewed, academic quarterly.  We have sponsored the colloquium for
27 years, bringing scholars, writers and activist from around the world
to spend the month of July together here in New York to work on a
project of their own design in a collaborative setting.

The 2015 CrossCurrents Research Colloquium will be held in July in New
York City. Fellows work on a research or writing project related to the
theme of “Mission and Media: Shaping the Beloved Community,” with access
to libraries and research facilities at Columbia University, Union,
Auburn, and Jewish Theological Seminaries.

We invite applications from scholars and writers, artists and activists,
as well as those involved in the not-for-profit sector, who are
interested in faith-rooted work shaping a more just and peaceful world
and are eager to explore ways and means of enhancing their impact and
extending their reach through use of various traditional and social media.

For more information about the colloquium as well as access to the
application form, please see:
