Staying Sane at a Time of Crisis

In case you missed it, to help people deal with the stress of the coronavirus epidemic, I'm launching a FREE 28-session online meditation course called "Meditating In a Crisis," which starts Friday, April 10.
The course is delivered by email, and you don't have to be online at any particular time.
This course contains 28 meditations to help us develop the skills of emotional resilience we need in order to find peace in the midst of stressful situations.
This is a rare opportunity to participate in one of Wildmind's online courses, which are generally only available to our sponsors. (You can learn more about becoming a sponsor here.)

The Eightfold Path: A Tool for Living at a Time of Crisis

The Buddha's noble eightfold path is a comprehensive guide to addressing the uncertainties and stresses we experience as human beings.
Here, Bodhipaksa shows how this 2,500-year-old teaching is of direct relevance to our lives.

A Compassion Meditation for Time of Crisis

This practice of Tonglen — "giving and receiving" — is a form of lovingkindness or compassion meditation from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This 20 minute session is led by Bodhipaksa.
Usually these meditations are available only to Wildmind's sponsors, but in response to the coronavirus crisis we're making this available to the general public.
If you'd like to support the work Wildmind does, and to be supported in your practice, check out our meditation initiative.

Check Out the Free Bodhi Mind App

If you're an iPhone or iPad user, you're invited to try out the FREE Bodhi Mind app, which offers at present almost 800 guided meditation recordings by Bodhipaksa.
A unique feature of Bodhi Mind is "Sitting With Bodhi," which nourishes your practice with daily guided meditations that are just 10 minutes long.

Learn the Art of Mindful Self-Compassion

We all long for someone who can offer us unconditional love and support. But what if that person is us?
It's always exciting when a book you've written is published, but I'm especially excited about this one, because it's a topic that's dear to my heart. For many years now I've been teaching the art of practicing self-compassion — learning to support and encourage yourself in the face of challenges.
Over and over again I've heard from meditation students who have found the techniques of mindful self-compassion I teach vital in freeing themselves from habits of self-criticism and self-hatred, and from the suffering they cause. And having these teachings in book form brings them to a whole new audience.
I'm especially pleased to have endorsements from Rick Hanson, Tara Brach, and Sharon Salzberg.
I hope you enjoy from and benefit from the book.
Love,
Bodhipaksa
